Diligent brought business leaders together on a barge moored on the Seine, beside the Pont-Neuf, for a French-language evening on governance, internal control and AI, set against a giant snow-capped alpine summit raised on the quay and paired with a LinkedIn portrait atelier for guests.
The Brief
Photograph a French-language corporate evening moored on the Seine beside the Pont-Neuf and run a parallel LinkedIn portrait station, so Diligent leaves with both a reportage set and a polished headshot for every guest.
The Challenge
Two jobs ran at once on a barge with a view: reportage that followed the room and a portrait station that needed consistent, controlled light against the changing river light outside. Sessions at the atelier had to stay short so the queue kept moving, yet each guest still expected a headshot they would actually use on LinkedIn. The setting did the rest of the work, with a snow-capped alpine summit raised on the quay and the Pont-Neuf and La Samaritaine framing the deck.
The Approach
We split the evening into a reportage track and a portrait track sharing one editing look. The atelier was built near the networking flow with a clean backdrop and a fixed lighting setup, independent of the river light outside, so each sitting took minutes while staying repeatable across dozens of faces. On deck we used the alpine set, the Pont-Neuf and the water as a backdrop the venue had handed us.
The Execution
On the floor we worked the keynotes on governance, internal control and AI, then read the room for the unscripted moments between talks and over the live jazz later on. We placed the alpine summit, the bridge and the lit quay behind the wider frames. At the atelier, a fixed light shaped every face the same way, and guests left with a frame ready to publish straight away.
The Outcome
Diligent walked away with two libraries from one evening on the Seine: a reportage set covering the stage, the networking and the alpine-summit deck beside the Pont-Neuf, and an individual professional portrait for each guest, all finished in a single consistent grade.
