Case Study
Decorex International is London's reference fair for interior designers and specifiers. Schmidt's stand needed coverage worthy of that audience.
The Brief
Multi-format Decorex coverage: brand film, short-form social and editorial stills, all reading as one campaign aimed at the design community.
The Challenge
Olympia mixes fluorescents, spotlights and glass-roof daylight that shift all day. Six gallery-grade stills and a full film had to come out of the same compressed window.
The Approach
Pre-opening access for the six clean stills, then parallel film and photo workflows once doors opened. White-balanced to Schmidt's stand light, ambient corrected in post.
The Execution
Stills locked during setup, six framings each isolating a kitchen collection. Film shifted into the live show with gimbal walkthroughs and detail passes on materials. Long-form and short-form social cuts graded to one science.
The Outcome
Schmidt's most complete exhibition package to date, six stills, a brand film and a social cut. The brief is now recurring across the UK's major design events.
