Direction, not just lighting
The session is built on specific direction. The portrait still looks like the person.

Specific direction for founders, partners and senior leaders. 60 minutes — for LinkedIn, press features and the annual report.
For founders, partners, board members and senior leaders who need one portrait to do real work
/// The brief behind the portrait
A headshot is a claim.

Morax shoots executive headshots in London for one person at a time: founders, partners, board members, senior hires. The session is built around the sitter, not a template — specific direction, lighting that holds across LinkedIn, press, keynote and annual report without looking over-produced.
One sitter, one photographer, no assistants in the room. Three portrait registers planned inside 60 minutes: corporate clean, editorial environmental, and a tighter founder register. Files retouched and labelled per channel — square LinkedIn, vertical press, full-bleed annual report. No last-minute resize.

/02
Most clients arrive uncomfortable on camera. The pacing, the studio and the briefing are designed to fix that in the first ten minutes.
/03
Corporate, editorial and founder portraits captured side by side — so one shoot covers LinkedIn, press features and an annual report cover.

Files retouched and labelled for each use. Square LinkedIn, vertical press, full-bleed annual report. No last-minute resize.
First, define the visual job — LinkedIn refresh, press feature, keynote page, annual report cover, investor deck. Each one changes the framing. Then build the right setup: lighting, background, wardrobe set against the role and the publication. No canned formula.
The sitter is guided through micro-adjustments — chin, breath, weight — never asked to act. Calm, specific, fast. Retouching stays controlled: credibility, not a textureless mask. Files are delivered as LinkedIn, press, keynote and annual report exports — prepared and labelled. The sitter forwards them directly. No designer required.

“I booked a personal branding session with Etienne and I'm very happy with the results. I'm usually uncomfortable on camera, but he knew exactly how to guide me and put me at ease.”
Q · 01
Yes. A large share of sittings are LinkedIn portraits — founders, partners and senior leaders refreshing a profile photo that no longer matches the role. Square and vertical LinkedIn crops are part of the standard delivery, alongside frames suitable for press and decks.
Q · 02
Guided by role and context. For most sessions: clean authority, not conspicuous styling. The brief tells you where the frame will run.
Q · 03
60 minutes for most sitters. Senior clients are time-compressed, so pacing is set to deliver multiple registers without dragging.
Q · 04
Yes. Multiple registers are planned in the same hour — clean corporate, editorial environmental, and a tighter founder frame — with channel-specific crops prepared in finishings.
Q · 05
Either. Old Street studio for full control, or on location across London — offices, residences, members' clubs, hotels — when the portrait benefits from context. Common location bookings include client offices in Mayfair, the City of London and Canary Wharf, with Morax travelling across central London by default.
Q · 06
Yes — personal branding sessions are common here. Founders, copywriters and consultants who need one coherent set for their site, LinkedIn and the press. Same approach as a senior executive headshot: calm direction, several registers, channel-ready files. More room for editorial and environmental frames when the brand is the person.
