The Brief

Produce a coherent personal branding portrait series at The Designer's Penthouse using natural light and warm tones, built for website hero, LinkedIn and editorial press use.

The Challenge

Personal branding for writers is difficult: the work is invisible, so the images have to convey a way of thinking rather than a visible craft, while still feeling like a real person.

The Approach

We structured the session around real activities, writing, reading, coffee, rather than posed setups. The Penthouse's windows were scouted by hour to follow the warmest light.

An afternoon at The Designer's Penthouse, working through the space as the light shifted. We started at the warmest window for laptop and coffee frames, then opened up wider.
